Isora Housing Block

Isora housing block is in an agricultural plateau south of Tenerife. The gentle slope, water abundance and mild warm weather has made this location ideal for Banana Plantation. The existing landscape is sculpted by agricultural water reservoirs and walls built with basaltic stone and concrete blocks. The project enjoys sea views and views to La Gomera Island to the South and to the Gigantes cliffs to the West.

The project consists of 14 residential units; two duplex, six penthouses, two courtyard houses and two apartments. The porosity of the project and the geometrical arrangement of the staggering units provides a rich variety of exterior spaces; terraces, courtyards, balconies and gardens. The succession of these open spaces stepping back are interconnected allowing for a air ventilation and multiple views to the sea and the cliffs. The roof terrace is used as a semi-public space allowing for the location of a swimming pool and a solarium.
